Background: The SunSeeker was the innovation of several flying buffs in the mid 80's. It won every competition, which prompted competition organizers to putting it in it's own class. Originally powered by a Rotax 277, it was the fastest, most economical and best performing ultralight any where in the world. This is the first of these production birds.

The innovators sold the project for fear of liability and the new owner didn't pursue the venture nor did they finish paying for what they received.

This is one of only a dozen built, but has had numerous improvements made over the past 2 ½ decades. Un-graded the engine to the Rotax 503 DCDI with dual carb's, C gear box w/clutch, Warp Drive 3 blade prop, Chrome cooling shrouds, cermachrome exhaust, motorcycle disc brakes, all the instruments one would need, large aluminum fuel tank, and much more. This all represents an investment of about 30K and lots of time. The wings were recovered in 2001 to allow a complete and detailed inspection of the inner components of the wings. ( there were no stress cracks or adverse findings anywhere ) Some reinforcing was done in areas, to make the wings even stronger than they were. Even though they have been flying for nearly 3 decades.

All the instruments you could need. And tinted windscreen for flying comfort.

Comfortable seat with Stick, throttle and instrument panel at your fingertips. Full seat belt and shoulder harness for safety.

Aluminum fuel tank is attractive, functional and allows for some serious cross country flying.

The Rotax Dual Ducati Ingnition, with dual Carb's, electric start and "C" Gear Box with clutch.

Cermachromed exhaust will never rust or change color. Warp Drive Propeller is very efficient.

Fitted with motorcycle disc brakes for dependability and durability.

Aluminum tail and control surfaces.

Must sell, but I sure hate to part with such a fun flying collectors plane.

Phone me evenings or email me if you want this remarkable gem!

Must Sell! Only, $16,500.00 or "Best Offer" for this collectors aircraft.
